New Computer & Website Problems!

Hi!

Upgraded to a new computer last month, and sadly it means that although the website is still working fine for you to purchase pebble gifts, I can't get in to change things at my end. So, no updating or adding personal customer payment buttons for the moment. However it has spurred me on to look at ways of changing the site - hopefully for the better - so perhaps it will turn out to be a serendipity moment instead of just a pest! I promise not to change things too radically - but there is always room for improvement in anything!

I'll try and keep you posted about the new website, and in the mean time the pebbles are still going strong and business is flourishing, in spite of the attempts of technology to get in the way!

Thank-you to all my customers, and to all my friends, for your continued custom and support!

Corporate Pebbles on the way!

I've managed to purchase some printing equipment, which will allow me to add company logos which are too intricate to draw by hand to my pebbles. This should open up a whole new customer base, and once I get the hang of printing I'll be advertising it as an option. It won't just be for businesses but for wedding clients too - who might have a special monogram or design in the theme of their wedding. Very excited about this new direction for Pebbletree - I'll post more information and images soon!

Happy New Year!

The end of 2009 was so busy that I hardly posted anything in the blog - oops! Hopefully this year will be just as busy - but I'll do better at setting aside time to add to my posts here too.

Here's to a healthy, happy and prosperous 2010 full of good things for everyone!

Wedding Fair at the Mansefield - Elgin

Pebbletree had a stall at the wedding fair held at the Mansefield Hotel in Elgin last weekend. (The hotel where I recently had my own wedding reception!) It was a fantastic day - organised by Colin from the Platinum Limo Company. He runs a wonderful business of his own, and holds the fair every year so other local wedding businesses can advertise, and to raise money for a local charity.

Colin was our limo driver back in May for my own wedding, and I'd highly recommend him! He went out of his way to help me arrange the timing, and on the day did a fantastic job of keeping us to our timetable, and keeping us all calm!

I took along examples of the kind of pebble favours and gifts I can make, and handed out lots of cards and chatted to couples planning their big day.

I also took along some leaflets for the Interfaith Minister who married me, Angie Alexandra. She expertly fills the gap between a religious ceremony and a less personal civil or non-spiritual humanist ceremony, and she does it so well. With just the right level of emotion, filled with personal details and stories, she made our ceremony truly memorable for everyone! She can preside over funerals & baby namings, as well as weddings. Again, I'd recommend her for a truly personal and highly professional effort on your behalf!

Welcome to my new Blog!

A brand new addition to Pebbletree - I'm trying out blogging!

Hoping to add some information about Pebbletree and my products, plus some bits and pieces that are just for interest. Hopefully something for everyone!

This month has been incredibly busy for me - with lots of wedding pebble favours flying out the door - not literally of course that would be dangerous!

And a lot more interest in the range of personalised paperweights & keepsake pebbles I've been expanding on this year (pictured above). Almost any message you want to send to a loved one can be sent on a pebble keepsake! As long as its not too long - my record so far is 736 characters on one specially commissioned pebble paperweight, but it was a bit of a tight squeeze!
